Special Needs Teacher Position in Birmingham - Specialising in Autism
Are you a passionate and qualified teacher seeking a fulfilling role in special education? Tradewind Recruitment are partnering with a Special School in Birmingham, dedicated to students with Autism and additional complex needs across KS3 and KS4. Currently, we are seeking those who are available for daily supply.
Key Details:
Qualified Teacher Position (NQTs welcome)
Teaching mixed ability classes, focusing on pupils with autism
Experience in teaching pupils with autism is essential

Requirements:
QTS or Equivalent
Minimum 6 months experience teaching within a special school (preferred)
Driving license (Preferred)
TEAM TEACH Certificate (Preferred)
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
Outstanding educational practitioner with high expectations
Experience with Makaton and PECS is essential for effective communication
