Our client is a leading food business who supply to a variety of the major retailers. As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Specification Technologist to join their business.
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
* Complete and review all product specifications to ensure they accurately reflect the product supplied.
* Handle customer specifications via multiple online portals, ensuring all account-specific requirements are met.
* Work closely with national account managers and suppliers to review and approve product specifications in time for product launches and ongoing updates.
* Assist NPD, Process, and Buying teams by interpreting food regulations, customer policies, and codes of practice for new developments.
* Maintain and update internal technical systems and trackers, ensuring timely communication to relevant personnel.
* Check and sign off product artwork, ensuring compliance with UK and EU legal labelling regulations and customer-specific requirements.
* Support external and third-party audits, presenting information and ensuring all requirements are met.
* Organise and validate scheduled traceability challenges in line with HACCP and the Quality Management System.
