Are you an energetic and motivated individual with a passion for physical education and behaviour mentoring? Long Term Futures are looking for a PE Coach/Behaviour Mentor to join a thriving primary school in North Edgbaston, to join on a long-term basis with the potential becoming permanent for the right candidate. This long-term role offers a fantastic opportunity to combine your skills in sports and behaviour support while contributing to an engaging and nurturing school environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students in PE lessons and during class-based activities.
  • To provide support with physical activities on breaks and lunchtime for the students.
  • Acting as a positive behaviour mentor, promoting good conduct and engagement.
  • Collaborating with the class teacher and PE staff to deliver structured activities.
  • Building strong relationships with students to encourage their development and confidence.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a school or sports coaching environment is desirable.
  • Confidence in managing groups of children in both classroom and sports settings.
  • Previous experience supporting children with special educational needs.
  • A proactive and energetic approach to support learning and behaviour.
  • Ability to build rapport and promote a positive atmosphere for students.
