Stairlift engineer required due to growth in our client's business. Our client is an installer, service and maintainer of the less able, the client manufactures, installs, services and repairs access equipment. They are looking for an engineer who has worked in a similar role in the past and is in within a commutable distance of Birmingham as this is where a bulk of the client's work is. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role.
This role requires manual driving license.
Stairlift engineer Position Overview
- Install stair lift system and other access equipment to manufacturers specifications and safety standards which is the main bulk of the role.
- The role mainly covers working in Birmingham and surrounding areas.
- Perform planned maintenance and services on access equipment
- Diagnose and repair faults on access equipment
- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance and repairs
- Provide an excellent level of service to customers
- Great opportunity to be put through training courses
- One of the main contracts the client holds is with Birmingham council
Stairlift engineer Position Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role ideally installing stairlift's and other access equipment
- Manufacturer training courses would be beneficial but not essential
- Within a commutable distance of Birmingham
- Ideally clean manual driving licence
- Good customer service skills
Stairlift engineer Position Remuneration
- 30,000-35,000 salary dependant on experience
- 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
- Company vehicle with fuel card.
- Mobile phone provided
- 9:00-5:30 working hours
- No overtime expected
- Pension
