Progress of students in English is above the national average. The department leads an exciting curriculum that celebrates both high academic expectations and the development of student character through challenging literature.The RoleAs a member of the English team, you will be integral to our constant drive to develop what is already an outstanding KS3 and KS4 curricula. Our ideal candidate will either have experience of and the ability to teach inspiring lessons across the 11-16 age range. You will also have time built into your timetable to deliver our already flourishing and well-resourced LAMDA qualification for Years 7 and 8, with CPD opportunities available to support you with this.You will have a strong commitment to effective behaviour management within a restorative practice framework. You should be inspired by Broadway's co-curricular and extra-curricular offer through its outdoor education centre in Worcestershire and want to bring your creativity to utilise this for the department and the benefit of our studentsWhy you should join usYou will get a real opportunity to make a difference within a school which encourages students and staff to be aspirational.
