Role - Tendors Assistant

My client are an award winning law firm where 95% of its staff class it as a great place to work who are seeking a Bid Coordinator to join their team located in the heart of Birmingham City Centre. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of sectors, supporting the delivery of tenders and contributing to the firm’s growth. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and experience in the Professional Services Industry is essential.

  • Annual Salary: £27,000 to £30,000
  • Location: Birmingham City Centre
  • Job Type: Permanent full time

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Assist the Bid team in producing tenders, including completing Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Coordinate and support various elements of the bid process and drafting sections of tenders.
  • Maintain and update the database and manage accounts on online tender portals.
  • Conduct research on clients and markets to better understand the client base and which clients to target.
  • Support the production of marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency across all documents.
  • Facilitate effective communication and information sharing across teams, establishing best practices and communication methods.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Bids, marketing or business development experience in a legal or professional services environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with email marketing systems and CRM databases.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Proactive, flexible, and confident in working with internal and external stakeholders.
