Toolmaker required to join a well-established manufacturer of plastic extrusions based in the Great Barr, Birmingham area. The successful candidate will live within the area and come from a toolmaker/manual machinist background.

Toolmaker Job Overview

Use of Surface grinders, lathes and other manual machinery
Support other colleagues and provide guidance where needed.
Complete tool reports and ordering of spare parts
Comply with company standards

Toolmaker Job Requirements

Experience within a Toolmaker role or similar previously
Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings
Good Communication and interpersonal skills
Good understanding of lean manufacturing
Live within a commutable distance to Great Barr

Toolmaker Salary & Benefits

Full time - Permanent
Day shift - Monday to Friday 07:00am to 16:00pm (Friday finish at 13:00pm)
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
