Duties and Responsibilities of the Trainee Freight Forwarder:

  • Assist with operations across all freight forwarding import and export requirements
  • Daily liaison with global office, airlines, shipping lines and hauliers in relation to the import and export co-ordination of shipments
  • Providing customers with quotations
  • Creating new bookings and maintain all specific programs
  • Check documentation entries
  • Prepare and transmit customs entries
  • Track customer shipments, send arrival notices and accurately update all schedules.

To Be Considered:

  • A keen interest in pursuing a career within the Supply Chain & Logistics industry
  • Experience of working within International logistics or freight forwarding or customs clearance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work on own initiative or as part of a tea
  • IT proficient
