About the Company:
We specialise in luxury new build one off homes where we offer our clients, a full electrical and mechanical package, we also offer continued support to the homeowners for service and maintenance. We offer this service to our domestic customers within the local area.
We also undertake small to medium commercial contracts, such as office refurbs, bar and restaurant refurbs, we frequently undertake service calls and small jobs when required mainly to our existing clients. Majority of our work is in the Solihull area.
About the Role:
We are a seeking a qualified and experienced Gas service and breakdown engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be offering the support to all our existing clients for servicing, breakdowns and small jobs. From time to time, we would expect the candidate to join in with the rest of team on the install side of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Have the knowledge to work alone follow drawings and instal complete plumbing and heating systems.
- Have experience and knowledge on working on domestic boilers and heating systems
- Test and diagnose heating/ boiler issues
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including Gas Safe and Health and Safety regulations.
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects within deadlines and budgets.
- Provide excellent customer service, building and maintaining relationships with clients.
Requirements:
- City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification in Plumbing Installation
- ACS domestic gas qualification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in gas and heating installation and maintenance
- Good knowledge of plumbing and heating systems and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot heating issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Full UK driving license.
