Job Summary
We are seeking a number of Scaffolders to join our clients growing company based in Coleshill, Birmingham, The ideal candidates will be responsible for the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding structures, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes and the ability to work collaboratively on various projects.

We are looking for PART 1 / PART 2 & ADVANCED Scaffolders you must hold all your scaffold qualifications and have a good level of experience within scaffolding

Most of the work is all West Midlands based.

Duties

  • Assemble and dismantle scaffolding systems according to specifications and safety regulations.
  • Fabricate scaffolding components as needed, ensuring structural integrity and stability.
  • Collaborate with team members to plan scaffold layouts for various construction sites, including roofs and masonry work.
  • Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding structures to ensure they are plumb, level, and secure.
  • Perform maintenance on scaffolding equipment and report any issues or repairs needed.
  • Assist in painting or finishing tasks as required on-site.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills

  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to scaffold building.
  • Experience in fabrication techniques and carpentry skills is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of masonry work and roofing practices is beneficial.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and plans accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on safety standards.
  • Capability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Basic electrical knowledge is a plus for integrating scaffolding with site utilities.

Rate of pay will depend on what cards / certs you hold

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 07.00 till 16.30 paid 45 hours a week with possible overtime available
