Deputy Manager

Location: Yardley, Birmingham

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily operations and service delivery within a small residential setting for children and young people.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures.
  • Manage staff performance and training.
  • Effectively lead a team and deputise in the absence of the registered manager.
  • Contribute to strategic planning.
  • Assist in recruitment and onboarding.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Senior support worker, team leader or deputy manager experience within an OFSTED registered setting.
  • Strong team leading experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • NVQ level 3 in children and young people's service.
  • Flexibility to share the on-call rota.
