Assistant Headteacher

Are you an experienced Assistant Headteacher looking for work in Birmingham?

Winner Education are recruiting for an Assistant Headteacher on behalf of a SEND school in North Birmingham. This role is full time, on a long-term role placement which will become permanent for the right candidate, you must be readily available to start immediately due to the urgency to fill this position.

Roles and Responsibilities:

-        Work closely with the senior leadership team within the trust to support the development and growth of the school

-        Report directly into the Headteacher

-        Strategic development and direction of SEN within the whole school

-        Design and maintain the inclusion/SEN Development plan inline with the school Improvement Plan

-        Attend relevant meetings inside and outside of the school and provide feedback to SLT with updates on policies and practices

-        Liaise with outside agencies

-        Have an active communication with all parents of pupils within the school

The successful Assistant Headteacher must:

• Have previous experience working in a SEN children
• Hold a QTS or recognised equivalent
• Have previous Assistant Headteacher/Senior Leadership experience
• Demonstrate working with high standards as part of an SLT
• Be inspirational to both fellow colleagues and pupils
• Show willing to go ‘above and beyond’
• Display strong leadership skills
