We are supporting a well-established primary school in Birmingham (Hall Green, B28, West Midlands) with a long-term, interim leadership job. We are working directly with the Headteacher who would like us to find an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Headteacher to support their leadership team from February 2025.

This primary school-based leadership job is offered on a full-time, interim basis to start from February half term, 2025 for the remainder of the academic year. The role will include but is not limited to the following duties:

Assistant Headteacher.
Lead across Year 1, KS1. (Four classes).
Mentor to two ECTs.
Part time teaching commitment (3 days).  The Headteacher is looking  to meet potential candidates with a range of leadership strengths and the role will then be tailored to the most suitable candidate. Knowledge of Phonics and maintaining Phonics data would be beneficial in this role. We are a locally based, family run recruitment business specialising in Education. With over 14 years’ worth of experience supporting education settings and candidates across primary, secondary and SEND divisions, Education Experts provide you with a personal service like no other. You will be provided with advice and guidance in relation to your requirements that respect your home and work life balance.
