Assistant Headteacher (Primary)

Are you an education expert? We are currently seeking to represent a primary specialist, Assistant Headteacher for a Birmingham based primary school. We are supporting a well-established primary school in Birmingham (Kings Heath, B14 6DT, West Midlands) with a long-term, interim leadership job. We are working directly with the Headteacher who would like us to find an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Headteacher to support their team from September 2024.

This primary school-based leadership job is offered on a full-time, interim basis to start from September 2024 for a minimum of one term. The role will include some teaching, likely two days out of five per week. The Headteacher is looking  to meet potential candidates with a range of leadership strengths and the role will then be tailored to the most suitable candidate.

A relevant UK based qualification.
Substantial experience working within an education setting.
All required documents for safer recruitment processing including, but not limited to a valid right to work proof and a valid Enhanced DBS.
Exceptional references.

Once shortlisted, a one-to-one interview will be scheduled with your dedicated consultant to discuss your experience and personal requirements. You will be provided with advice and guidance in relation to your requirements that respect your home and work life balance. You will work solely with your consultant throughout your registration journey and beyond, always having direct access to speak with them on a one-to-one basis.

Salary: Leadership Scale (day rate equivalent, to be negotiated)
