Job Description: As the Head of Business Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive business curriculum, mentoring other business teachers, and ensuring high standards of teaching and learning. You will play a key role in shaping the business education program and supporting students in achieving their academic and career goals

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of business teachers, providing guidance and support to enhance teaching practices.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, exams, and projects.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in business education and incorporate them into the curriculum.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote interdisciplinary learning and integrate business concepts across the curriculum.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide regular feedback to students and parents.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
  • Past leadership experience
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with educational practices.
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
