Fire Alarm EngineerPermanentBirmingham£34,320 + Call out and Overtime January 2025 startAre you a Fire Alarm Engineer looking for a new role with the assurance of stability?Due to continued growth, we have been chosen to recruit on behalf of a large building contractor for a Fire Alarm Engineer on a permanent basis to join their team working on MOJ & Healthcare contracts throughout Birmingham and the surrounding areas. The Fire Alarm Engineer duties will include:• Fault finding, servicing and repairs of fire alarms• Emergency lighting and disabled alarms • Working with a variety of panels including, Gent, Notifier and advanced.The successful Fire Alarm Engineer must have:• NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification• 18th Edition• Electrical qualifications • FIA/BFPSA or equivalent – Fire • ECS card • Full clean UK driving licence Experience in the following sectors would be desirable:• Working with MOJ/Educational/Healthcare settings • Experience on reactive and repairs maintenanceThe successful Fire Alarm Engineer will be given a company van & fuel card to enable you travel to sites throughout the Birmingham area, IPAD, Phone, PPE, Uniform, along with 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, Private Health Care and Pension contribution.
