We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Engineer with sound knowledge and experience in servicing, repairing, and installing fire alarm equipment, including emergency lighting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install fire alarm systems in industrial and commercial premises to BAFE standards.
  • Perform small and large installations independently or as part of a team.
  • Service and maintain systems in line with British Standards.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Complete accurate documentation, including timesheets, work reports, and service reports.
  • Conduct reactive and preventative maintenance on fire security systems.
  • Demonstrate systems to customers, explaining causes and consequences of false alarms.
  • Maintain good relations with clients and colleagues.
  • Participate in the on-call system.

Requirements

  • Proven knowledge and FIA-certified competencies (or equivalent training).
  • Reliable, conscientious, organized, and confident in your work.
  • Ability to deliver neat, high-standard work with a positive "can-do" attitude.
  • Strong fault-finding and technical skills in Fire Alarms, PAVA, Emergency Lighting, Nurse Call, and Disabled Refuge Systems.
  • CSCS card, Full UK Driver's License, and the right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS and security checks required.
  • 18th Edition desirable (17th Edition essential).
