We have partnered with a established Aviation organisation, based in the Birmingham area.Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Construction Health and Safety Advisor to join their busy team. The ideal candidate will be in control of contractors for planned and corrective maintenance. This is a full time permanent role based onsite Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm/9am-5pm and offers a salary ranging from £35-£45k DOE.To be considered for the role of Construction Health and Safety Advisor you will require:
  • NEBOSH General Certificate 
  • Experience of Contractor Management
  • Ability to Review Risk Assessments & Method Statements
  • Experience in carrying out Audits.
  • Knowledge of Construction Regulations
  • Mechanical, Electrical, Building fabrication and general construction knowledge essential
Key Duties and Responsibilities of the Construction Health and Safety Advisor Role:
  • Support the Health, Safety and Fire team with the following:
  • Control of Contractors process
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Contractor engagement
  • Compliance with BAL Health Safety and Fire policies and procedures
  • Liaise with CDM duty holders, where required, to support Construction projects.
  • Carrying out Construction site audits
  • Contribution to Quarterly Contractor collaboration meetings
  • Management of Safety Schemes in Procurement portal
