Occupational Health TechnicianLocation: Midlands (UK-wide travel with overnight stays)Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum (with overtime potential up to £30,000) + benefits 

We have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Health Technician to join one of our clients, primarily covering the midlands area. There will potentially be frequent travel further afield and regular overnight stays.

Within You will be conducting health surveillance, fitness for work screening, and health promotion, further details below in details

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct health surveillance, including audiometry, spirometry, skin assessments, and Hand Arm Vibration (Tier 1 & 2)
  • Perform fitness-for-work medicals (e.g., driver, working at height, and vision screening)
  • Carry out drug & alcohol testing and venepuncture
  • Deliver wellbeing medicals and health promotion activities
  • Drive a mobile screening unit nationwide, including UK & Ireland

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Previous Occupational Health experience, including health surveillance and fitness-for-work medicals
  • Willingness to undertake extensive travel and overnight stays (Monday – Friday as required)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience and/or willingness to drive vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office and electronic medical records systems)
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills
