About the Role
As the Health & Safety Manager, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our employees and operations by developing, implementing, and monitoring health and safety policies, systems, and procedures. Your mission is to reduce risks to the lowest level practicable while ensuring compliance with all statutory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on health and safety legislation and industry best practices.
  • Design, implement, and maintain health and safety policies, systems, and procedures.
  • Record and analyze incident statistics, identifying trends for continuous improvement.
  • Schedule and advise on risk assessments, including COSHH, Fire, Machinery, and Noise.
  • Collaborate with Occupational Health to promote health strategies and employee well-being.
  • Develop and deliver engaging health and safety training programs.
  • Assist and advise the Health and Safety Committee.
  • Manage the health and safety budget effectively.
  • Lead incident investigations and liaise with statutory bodies and insurance companies.
  • Compile necessary documentation for employer liability claims.
