What You Will Do:

  • Coordinate all Environment, Health & Safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Lead investigations, train teams on quality investigations, and develop systems to resolve non-conformances based on root cause analysis.
  • Conduct risk assessments, implement follow-up actions to minimize accidents or asset losses, and drive a safety-perfect culture across the plant.
  • Ensure facility standards are in compliance with both company and government regulations, and act as a deputy for the HSE manager as needed.
  • Develop and deliver critical safety training to management level employees and ensure contractors have robust EHS procedures aligned with company expectations.
  • Drive behavioral safety as a way of life, coaching less experienced team members and developing a pipeline of talent within the business.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven knowledge of Environmental Management Systems and experience working with Governing Bodies (e.g., HSE, EA).
  • Strong process management skills and the ability to pragmatically apply systems and functional principles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills, with a dynamic, tenacious, and courageous attitude.
  • Technical functional excellence in Health & Safety, preferably with experience in auditing on ISO 14001 and 18001 standards.
  • Desirable: Understanding of CDM, project management skills, and a background in Process Safety Management.
  • Demonstrated ability create a motivational environment, driving good health and safety culture.
