As a HCA, you will play a crucial role in providing essential support to our clients, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives.

Position: Healthcare AssistantLocation: B18, BirminghamSalary: 14- 16/hr

Job Type: Sole trader/Limited

Requirements:

  • UK Passport/Right to Work (Regret - No 20 hours restrictions)
  • Minimum 2 year in-UK Social Care experience.
  • Primary/Urgent Care experience essential
  • DBS registered to the Update Service
  • Mandatory Care Certifications
  • NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history.
  • Assist in triage, prioritizing patient care in urgent situations.
  • Perform basic clinical procedures under supervision.
  • Monitor patients' condition and report changes promptly.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and families.
  • Administer medications and provide patient education.
  • Assist with mobility and ensure infection control.
  • Handle patient reception, registration, and appointment scheduling.
  • Collect specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Support chronic disease management and health promotion activities.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and advocate for patient needs.
