Job Title:Assistant General Manager

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £40,000 per annum + Bonus

Role Overview

The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for daily management of staff, building relationships within the community, and with residents, fire safety, health and safety and overall administration.

  • Operational Mobilisation Supporting in the hiring, onboarding and ongoing management of staff members to create the onsite team
  • Customer Services Meet and interact with residents in a customer friendly and professional manner.
  • Building Maintenance / Health & Safety Ensure that all legal and statutory requirements are adhered to
  • Marketing & Asset Performance Understand and oversee the void unit process, ensuring minimum turnaround timeframes. In the absence of the General Manager, to ensure budget responsibility is monitored.
  • Team Train and support all team members and conduct performance management reviews

Person Specification

  • Experience of managing teams within Residential, Build to Rent, Student Accommodation (PBSA) or Hospitality
  • Strong knowledge of Health and Safety and Compliance
  • Passionate in Customer Service, Resident Engagement and Resident Experience
  • High level of administrative skills and computer literacy skills
