Role Overview:
As a Trainee Territory Manager, you will join the Cardiac Surgery team and play a pivotal role in supporting healthcare professionals and promoting Abbott's innovative surgical products. This is an entry-level role designed for graduates who are passionate about healthcare and eager to develop a career in the medical devices industry.
You will receive comprehensive training to build your technical expertise, sales skills, and understanding of Abbott's cutting-edge cardiac surgery technologies. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with surgeons, gain hands-on experience in operating theatres, and build strong professional relationships within the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Support- Provide on-site technical support during cardiac surgery procedures, ensuring healthcare professionals are confident and effective in using Abbott's products.
- Act as a trusted resource for surgeons and clinical teams by offering product insights and troubleshooting support during operations.
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital staff, and procurement teams within your assigned territory.
- Work to increase the adoption of Abbott's products by presenting their clinical and economic benefits to key stakeholders.
- Develop and implement account plans to meet sales targets and grow market share.
- Work closely with experienced managers and mentors to build your skills in technical communication, territory management, and sales strategy.
What We're Looking For:
Education:- A recent graduate with a degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.
- A passion for healthcare and a desire to build a career in medical devices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- A proactive and curious mindset, eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage your time effectively.
- Comfortable with travel and working within hospital environments, including operating theatres.
