Prospero Teaching is recruiting for an experienced and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Key Stage 1 with Autism (ASD). The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and a passion for working with children with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with ASD.
Assist with the implementation of individual learning plans and strategies.
Support communication, social skills, and emotional regulation.
Promote positive behaviour and foster an inclusive learning environment.
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCo, and parents.
Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience working with children with ASD or other SEN.
A patient, empathetic approach and strong communication skills.
Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
A commitment to child welfare and inclusive education.

Supply TA Experience, Training, and Qualifications
It is essential that you have SEN Teaching assistant experience, along with a relevant qualification Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification in Childcare/TA
Up-to-date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.

Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
Provide two professional child-related references.
