Key Responsibilities:

As an Biology Lecturer, you will play a crucial role in teaching and supporting students on their A Level courses.  

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective biology lessons in line with the A-Level curriculum.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning and engagement.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, exams, and practical assessments.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them improve their understanding and performance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in the field of biology and incorporate relevant advancements into the curriculum.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and other academic activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices in teaching and learning.
  • Support students with their university applications and career aspirations related to biology
