We are seeking an experienced Computer Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Great Barr, Birmingham. The successful candidate must have strong knowledge of Python and be confident teaching KS3 to A-Level students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons to KS3, KS4, and A-Level students.
  • Teach Python programming and other relevant computing topics.
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Computer Science exams.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Computer Science at KS3, KS4, and A-Level.
  • Strong knowledge of Python and other relevant programming languages.
  • Ability to differentiate lessons to suit all learning abilities.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willing to obtain one).
