The School and Role

ABC Teachers is seeking a Long-Term Computer Science Supply Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Moseley. The school is well-regarded for its commitment to academic excellence and innovation, offering a supportive environment where students are encouraged to excel in technology and computing.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Inspire students with real-world applications of coding, programming, and digital literacy.

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons that cater to a range of abilities.

  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

 

Requirements

The successful Computer Science Teacher will have;

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level.

  • Strong knowledge of programming languages and IT applications.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)

*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
