Are you passionate about working with young children and eager to make their first school years unforgettable? Our school in Birmingham, B26, is searching for a Year 1 Teaching Assistant who's ready to bring energy and creativity to the classroom.
Your Role:
- Support the class teacher in delivering fun and engaging lessons that capture the imagination of Year 1 students.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to ensure every child is included in the learning process.
- Help manage classroom activities and maintain a positive, nurturing environment.
- Assist in preparing and organizing classroom resources to create an inviting and stimulating space for learning.
- Encourage social development by helping students build friendships and practice good behavior.
About You:
- You have a natural ability to connect with young children and inspire a love of learning.
- Experience working with Year 1 students or in a similar role is a big plus.
- You're creative, energetic, and ready to make every day in the classroom an adventure.
- You're patient, understanding, and committed to supporting the individual needs of each child.
