Long Term Futures is looking for a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Bordesley Green. This opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about supporting SEN pupils and nurturing an inclusive learning environment. As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the classroom and working alongside students and teachers to help raise academic standards. This long-term position comes with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group support to pupils, encouraging their engagement in lessons and promoting their personal growth.
  • Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) where required, supporting the needs of children with SEN.
  • Work with class teachers to create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic and social development for all pupils.
  • Monitor student progress, manage behaviour effectively, and provide feedback to staff and parents as needed.
  • Support the teacher by leading small group activities and contributing to a well-organised, positive classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or relevant degree.
  • Experience working with SEN pupils.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to inclusive education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff and follow guidance.
