We are seeking a passionate and dedicated GCSE Maths Lecturer to join the team at one of London’s leading Further Education (FE) Colleges.

Multiple roles are available in different colleges across London, with both part-time and full-time positions available on a temporary ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality GCSE Maths lessons.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to engage and motivate students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements.
  • Support students in preparing for their GCSE exams, including providing extra help where needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the maths department.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) is highly desirable.
  • Experience teaching GCSE Maths, preferably in an FE college setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the GCSE Maths curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with educational best practices.
