- Teaching Science up to GCSE level in a small class setting.
- Planning and delivering practical, hands-on lessons using the well-equipped labs.
- Managing behaviour effectively with the support of the pastoral team.
- Helping students re-engage with education and develop a love for science.
- Working closely with teaching assistants and pastoral staff to support students’ academic and personal growth.
- Tracking progress and implementing targeted interventions where necessary.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Strong classroom management skills and experience working with students with SEMH or behavioural needs.
- A creative and resilient approach to teaching and learning.
- A passion for delivering engaging and practical Science lessons.
- A valid DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Excellent facilities, including well-equipped Science labs.
