We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant for a role at a school in Kingstanding.
This role includes supporting and teaching small groups of children in Year 5 who display challenging behaviour.
The school are looking for somebody who is confident in their behaviour management techniques, and is able to maintain a calm classroom environment.
The school encompasses a nurturing environment where pupils are encouraged to lead their own learning. You will encourage this ethos through guided learning sessions and creative intervention with the pupils. The ultimate goal is for the pupils to be reintegrated into the classroom.
To be successful in this role you will require:
* Level 3 + Teaching Assistant Qualification (NVQ / CACHE preferable)
* Experience supporting pupils with SEND on a one to one basis
* Excellent working knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
* Recent primary school experience within the last 2 years
