SEND Teaching Assistant Immediate Start Castle Vale

The school I am recruiting for are based in Castle Vale and are looking for a part time SEND Teaching Assistant who has experience working 1:1 with Autism.

The role is working in KS1 within a year 1 class setting supporting a child with Autism on a 1:1 basis. The child is keen to learn, but needs support with their social skills and managing their emotions. Their behaviour is good and they follow instructions well.

The setting has average EAL and SEND needs for the geographic area and like to provide additional support for students with additional needs, putting support in place such as 1:1 support and a resource base for children with additional needs.

As a full time, teaching assistant, the school will expect you to essentially be a permanent member of staff, so the following is expected.
* Support a child with Autism 1:1
* Support the class teacher with daily activities
* Assess achievements of pupil.
* Ensure the student can access the curriculum
