Flourish Education work with schools that need TA’s immediately on an ad hoc basis. 

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Provide tailored support for children with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, ASD, SEMH, and challenging behaviour.
• Work across Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2) to deliver the National Curriculum.
• Assist with learning both inside and outside the classroom.
• Offer one-on-one and group support to enhance student engagement.
• Support teachers in creating an inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt to short-term and day-to-day needs in various Primary Schools.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification.
• Proven experience as a Learning Support Assistant, Learning Mentor, or Support Assistant in UK schools.
• Experience working with children who have SEND
• Previous experience working in either Primary Schools, Special Schools, Alternative Provisions, and or PRU’s
• Knowledge of supporting students with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other complex needs.
• Commitment to promoting an inclusive classroom environment.

• £88.92 - £95.00 per day, equating to £17,339.40 - £18,525.00 per annum based on full-time work
