We are actively recruiting for an experienced SEND Support Teacher for a SEND school in Birmingham who are dedicated in supporting and preparing students for life after school. The perfect candidate will be someone who is innovative and passionate about supporting young learners with Special Educational Needs. Due to the needs of the children, the ideal candidate will need to be experienced in working with a wide range of SEN in a classroom environment and in small groups/ 1:1. You will need the ability to provide tailored academic and emotional support to students while creating a safe environment that allows children and students to develop and thrive.
What you will need:
* Experience and passion for working with SEND children.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational needs of students with a range of SEN.
* DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
* Excellent communication skills for building relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes student well-being.
