A school within Sutton Coldfield is looking for a teaching assistant to work 5 days a week on a 1:1 basis with a child in Year 1.
This child has ASD and can sometimes display challenging behaviour, so requires somebody with a caring nature, and the ability to maintain a calm environment.
The child is accessing the Key Stage 1 curriculum, but may require breaks outside of the classroom.
Requirements for our Teaching Assistant Roles:
*Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification (or an equivalent for ratio purposes)
*Experience with children who have additional needs
*Experience within a Primary School (preferably 6+ months)
*Updated and clean DBS on the update service.
*The ability to inspire children.
*To work as part of a team
