Pro1 Education is dedicated to providing high-quality educational support, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive. We are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Birmingham on a long term and potentially permanent basis.

Location: Birmingham
Time: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Pay: £85-95 per day

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons
  • Assist with planning and preparing classroom and learning resources
  • Help maintain a positive and productive learning environment through behaviour management strategies
  • Support students with intervention on 1:1 and small group basis
  • Monitor and track student progress and behaviour

Requirements

  • Previous experience working within an educational setting
  • Right to work in the UK
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children
  • Experience working with SEND pupils is ideal
