Are you passionate about supporting children in their learning journey? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Birmingham on a long-term basis.
Key Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Work with small groups or individual students to provide targeted assistance, helping to close learning gaps.
- Promote positive behavior and create an inclusive learning environment.
- Assist with classroom organization and preparation of teaching materials.
- Support children with additional needs, including SEN, EAL, or those requiring extra pastoral care.
- Participate in school activities and contribute to a positive school culture.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working in a school or educational setting.
- Hold relevant qualifications CACHE Level 2 or 3, or equivalent
- Demonstrate a caring, patient, and proactive approach to working with children.
- Be confident in building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Be available for a January start and committed to a long-term role.
