Teaching Assistant

Job Role:

• Provide classroom support to the Class Teacher in delivering engaging lessons across the Primary School.
• Support students within Key Stage 2 (KS2) to meet their learning targets.
• Assist in preparing and organising learning materials and activities.
• Promote positive behavior and assist in managing classroom routines.
• Work closely with the Class Teacher to assess and monitor student progress.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School setting is essential.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Education or Childcare is required.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, particularly for Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• A proactive, enthusiastic approach to supporting children’s learning.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
