Are you an inspiring leader with a passion for transforming workplace culture? Adecco are delighted to have partnered with Trident Group to identify a Head of People and Culture to join their dynamic organisation dedicated to providing exceptional housing, care, and support services. Based in Erdington, Birmingham, the office is conveniently located just a 12-minute walk from Chester Road train station, but also has a number of free parking spaces available on site.

What You'll Do:
As the Head of People and Culture, you will lead the People and Culture team, ensuring that they deliver innovative and exceptional services that enhance employee experience at every level. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Drive people-related strategy across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to align plans with strategic goals.
  • Develop and deliver the People & Culture strategy, monitoring progress effectively.
  • Talent Acquisition, Management, and Retention:
  • Partner with hiring managers to define talent needs and recruitment strategies.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for key roles aligned with succession plans.
  • Design and implement impactful learning and development programmes.
  • Performance Management:
  • Champion a high-performance culture through effective performance management systems.
  • Support managers in identifying and managing performance development issues.
  • Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion:
  • Be an organisational champion for EDI, developing and delivering a robust EDI strategy.
  • Collaborate with the EDI champions network to create a truly equitable and inclusive environment.

Who You Are:
We're looking for an exceptional leader with:

  • Significant HR experience, particularly in challenging roles.
  • A strategic understanding of cultural change programmes.
  • Expertise in data analytics to inform effective decision-making.
  • A relevant qualification (CIPD level 7, Master's in HR, etc.) or equivalent experience.

Your Skills:

  • Exceptional motivation and influence skills.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong relationship-building skills across diverse teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
