Description
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's objectives
- Build out the HR Operations function - systems, processes, policies and procedures.
- Support business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements
- Nurture a positive working environment
Profile
A successful HR Director should have:
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within the Human Resources field
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Degree in Human Resources or related field
