Interim HR Manager – The Role:

Are you an experienced HR professional looking to make a meaningful impact in education? Our client is a group of primary and secondary schools, seeking a skilled and proactive HR Manager to join their dedicated team, supporting their schools and their people across the West Midlands.

Interim HR Manager - Key Responsibilities:

- Expert People Advisory: Provide expert, timely advice to schools and employees, ensuring effective management of HR casework while balancing priorities efficiently

- Employee Relations: Guide and support Headteachers on staffing matters, including employee relations, employment law, and organisational policies

- Casework Management: Undertake casework as needed, offering hands-on support while coaching and mentoring staff as part of our commitment to learning and development

- Trusted Advisor: Act as a key partner to school leadership, delivering insightful and practical advice to empower effective decision-making on all HR matters

Interim HR Manager – You:

- Demonstrable experience managing a variety of HR casework, with a strong understanding of employment law and its practical application

- A proactive approach to coaching and mentoring others in HR processes, fostering continuous professional development

- Proven ability to build trust and rapport with senior leaders, providing thoughtful and pragmatic solutions to HR challenges

- A background in the education or Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) sector is desirable but not essential
