Description

As a HR Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a comprehensive and proactive HR service across the organisation. This is a varied role, encompassing all aspects of HR, including employee relations, recruitment, learning and development, policy development, and organisational change initiatives. You will provide advice and practical support to help them achieve their goals while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and organisational policies.

  • Employee Relations (ER):
    Provide expert advice and guidance on complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and absence management cases. Ensure consistency and adherence to employment law and organisational policies.

  • Recruitment and On-boarding:
    Support the end-to-end recruitment process, from job design and advertising to interviewing and on-boarding, ensuring the organisation attracts and retains top talent.

  • Learning and Development:
    Identify training needs and support the design and delivery of development programs to up-skill staff and enhance organisational capability.

  • Policy Development and Implementation:
    Contribute to the creation, review, and updating of HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are legally compliant and aligned with best practice.

Profile

We are looking for a motivated, adaptable, and professional individual with strong interpersonal and organisational skills.

  • Extensive experience in an HR advisory role, preferably in the public sector.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and its practical application.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • A proactive approach, with the confidence to challenge and influence where necessary.
