Bell Cornwall Recruitment are pleased to be hiring a HR Advisor for a fantastic health care company in Birmingham working on a ROLLING TEMP BASIS

The Candidates responsibilities:

  • Provide first line advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Pro-active management of long and short-term sickness cases with a person-centred approach as the principal focus.
  • Provide efficient and effective employee relations casework management processes including disciplinary, grievance, bullying and harassment, performance and attendance management. Supporting managers, taking part in meetings, formal hearings and producing notes, formal minutes and reports.
  • Ensuring all work is compliant with law, policy and good practice.
  • Provide recruitment advice and support to managers with general recruitment enquiries and support Senior Management to identify and manage recruitment needs.
  • Support employee's personal development needs through appraisal completions, inductions, and coaching, mentoring, learning and development interventions.
  • Provide a timely response to all enquiries whether received by letter, email or telephone.
  • Work with the HR Team to support people management training to up skill managers, and spotting areas for development based on queries received by the HR service.
  • To maintain accurate records of all employment related cases are completed within timescales and department records updated.
  • To undertake specific projects and tasks as directed.
  • To attend department and team meetings as appropriate.

Skills Needed:

  • Experience within a similar role is necessary.
  • A CIPD qualification is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proven team work ethic.
  • Be confident when it comes to decision making and taking on any queries.
  • Confidence in identifying any issues with the ability to resolve them effectively and efficiently.
