We are actively seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join the HR team of one of our esteemed clients based in Birmingham. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated professional who has a proven track record of thriving in a fast-paced environment and providing robust support within a dynamic HR department. 

HR Advisor

  • Job Type: Full-time, office based 
  • Location: Head Office, Birmingham 
  • Salary: £30,000 - £34,000

Day to day of the role:

  • Maintain all HR systems, ensuring data and records are accurate and up to date.
  • Generate reports and create Excel spreadsheets with advanced functions.
  • Develop job descriptions, person specifications, and prepare job adverts.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including shortlisting, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
  • Issue offer letters and employee contracts. Manage induction and onboarding processes.
  • Support and lead formal meetings, such as disciplinary and grievance procedures.
  • Advise employees and Line Managers on HR-related queries and chair ER meetings.
  • Liaise with Payroll regarding employee information, such as absences.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience within an HR environment.
  • Familiarity with the full recruitment and selection cycle.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Macros, complex formulas, V-Look Ups, and data consolidation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation.
