We are actively seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join the HR team of one of our esteemed clients based in Birmingham. HR Advisor
- Job Type: Full-time, office based
- Location: Head Office, Birmingham
- Salary: £30,000 - £34,000
Day to day of the role:
- Maintain all HR systems, ensuring data and records are accurate and up to date.
- Generate reports and create Excel spreadsheets with advanced functions.
- Develop job descriptions, person specifications, and prepare job adverts.
- Manage the recruitment process, including shortlisting, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
- Issue offer letters and employee contracts. Manage induction and onboarding processes.
- Support and lead formal meetings, such as disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Advise employees and Line Managers on HR-related queries and chair ER meetings.
- Liaise with Payroll regarding employee information, such as absences.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience within an HR environment.
- Familiarity with the full recruitment and selection cycle.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Macros, complex formulas, V-Look Ups, and data consolidation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation.
