HR Advisor
Location: Aston, Birmingham
Salary: Up to £35,000
Hybrid working - 2 days WFH
GRG are thrilled to be working with aleading global distribution business that operates across multiple regions, providing innovative supply chain solutions. I am seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to support their regional and HR functions. In this role, you will provide expert guidance on HR policies, employee relations, talent development, and workforce planning. You will work closely with managers and employees to foster a high-performing and engaged workforce, ensuring compliance with global HR standards and local employment laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted HR partner to managers and employees, providing advice on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Support employee relations by handling investigations, grievances, and disciplinary matters in line with company policies and legal requirements.
- Assist with talent management initiatives, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues globally to ensure alignment and consistency in HR strategies and programs.
- Provide HR data analysis and reporting to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage and support the implementation of HR projects and initiatives that enhance employee engagement and business efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies across multiple jurisdictions.
- Promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.
- Support training and development initiatives to upskill employees and enhance leadership capabilities.
- Work with payroll and benefits teams to ensure accurate processing of employee compensation and benefits.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor or similar role within a multinational or distribution/logistics environment
- Level 5 CIPD Qualified
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation, and employee relations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global business environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to HR challenges.
- Experience in HRIS and data reporting tools is an advantage.
