Part-Time HR Assistant
Location: Aston, Birmingham Salary: Up to 29,000 FTE 25 to 30 hours
I am seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Part-Time HR Assistant to support my client's HR team in delivering efficient and effective HR services. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a global business while maintaining work-life balance. The successful candidate will assist with various HR functions, including administrative tasks, recruitment support, employee documentation, and HR system maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the HR team, including managing HR documents and maintaining employee records.
Assist with recruitment processes, including scheduling interviews, posting job ads, and onboarding new employees.
Support employee engagement initiatives and internal HR communications.
Ensure HR databases and systems are updated accurately.
Assist with payroll and benefits administration by coordinating relevant documentation.
Handle general HR queries and provide guidance on company policies and procedures.
Support HR compliance by ensuring all employee records meet legal and regulatory requirements.
Assist in organising HR-related events, training sessions, and meetings.
Key Requirements:
- Dayforce experience is essential
Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is preferred.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems (preferred).
A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
CIPD qualification or working towards one is a plus.
