We are currently recruiting for an exciting HR Coordinator opportunity for a Birmingham based public sector organisation.

HR Coordinator

Duration: Temporary-to-permanent

Location: Birmingham

Working model: Hybrid with 2 days on site per week

Pay rate: £16-£17.90 per hour via an Umbrella company (£25,000-£27,000 per annum, permanent)

Hours: 37 hours per week

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing all transactional elements of the HR department
  • Support the HR department in implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Managing HR enquiry inbox
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing issues
  • Assisting in the coordination of disciplinary meetings
  • Recording and monitoring employee absences
  • Assisting in recruitment and selection processes
  • Liaising with the external payroll organisation
  • Assisting in the development of overall HR strategies, systems, and procedures
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar HR administration role
  • Studying towards/ achieved CIPD Level 3
  • Public sector experience is preferable
