Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Advisor to join our team. The HR Advisor will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support and guidance to employees and management. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our HR department and the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities

路 To maintain all HR systems ensuring data and records are accurate and up to date

路 Reporting data and creating excel spreadsheets

路 Developing job descriptions and person specifications

路 Preparing job adverts, checking application forms, short listing and sifting CV's, interviewing and selecting candidates

路 Liaison with recruitment agencies

路 To produce and issue offer letters and employee contracts

路 Liaising with Hiring Managers for vacancies in Head Office and in Stores

路 Introduce new employees to the company and walk them through the induction

路 To ensure all new starter paperwork is completed and relevant information provided to Payroll

路 To provide line manager with new starter documents to ensure a smooth on boarding process for the new employee

路 Managing the HR inbox

路 Responsible for the organization of Agency staff by liaising with the Agency Company and Warehouse Management

路 To administer starter/leaver processes

路 Supporting and leading Formal Meetings, such as disciplinary, grievances and flexible working applications

路 Organisation of HR documents in preparation for meetings (invite letters and outcome letters)

路 Advising employee and Line Managers on all HR related queries. Confident in chairing ER related meetings such as disciplinaries

路 Liaise with Payroll regarding relevant employee information, for example employee absence

路 Support in revising Company policies, procedures and employee handbook

路 Respond to reference requests

路 Ensure electronic and paper based personnel files are maintained and filing/archiving is completed in a timely manner

路 Support Payroll when required

About you:

  • Previous experience of working within a HR environment
  • Familiarity with the full recruitment and selection cycle

路 Advanced in excel and able to do Macros, complex formulas, V-Look Ups and combining multiple cells of data

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

路 Be able to take accountability and influence matters

路 Well organised and apply a conscientious working approach

路 Show dedication and a pro-active, can do attitude and can think outside of the box

路 Up to date knowledge of legislation

  • Confident and able to work under pressure
